BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Aug. 13, 2026 — Kartoon Studios, Inc. (NYSE: TOON) has signed an agreement with Amazon Prime Video (NASDAQ: AMZN) to stream its animated series HUNDRED ACRE WOOD, based on A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh, beginning February 18, 2027. Amazon will support the launch with prominent “Hero Banners,” while its “Shop the Show” program will enable viewers to purchase products featuring HUNDRED ACRE WOOD characters while streaming the series.
The agreement represents an important step in Kartoon Studios’ strategy to monetize premium intellectual property across streaming, licensing, merchandising and consumer products, creating multiple potential revenue channels around its flagship franchises.
Investor attention is also turning toward the company’s financial performance, with Kartoon Studios expected to report its Q2 2026 results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, following the market close today, August 13, 2026. The update could provide additional insight into the company’s production pipeline, streaming growth, operating performance and financial position.
