Aug. 18, 2026 — Peraso Inc. (NASDAQ: PRSO) is gaining renewed investor attention after Ladenburg Thalmann maintained its Buy rating and raised its 12-month price target to $3.25 from $2.75, citing the company’s emerging opportunities across military drones, defense communications, autonomous systems and Edge AI. The new target compares with PRSO’s Aug. 14 closing price of $0.68.
Ladenburg analyst Jon R. Hickman said Peraso’s military and AI Edge solutions point to rebounding revenues into 2027, forecasting revenue of approximately $17.5 million in 2027, compared with a revised $6.2 million estimate for 2026. That would represent revenue growth approaching 200% year over year, driven by an anticipated recovery in fixed wireless orders and initial revenue from military and AI Edge applications.
Q2 Sets Stage for New Growth Markets
Peraso reported Q2 2026 revenue of approximately $1.2 million, improving sequentially from Q1, while gross margins remained in the mid-60% range. Although fixed wireless demand remains soft, the company continues expanding its 60GHz mmWave technology into potentially higher-growth communications markets including robotics, autonomous Edge AI, military drones and defense applications.
A central component of that strategy is Peraso’s newly introduced PRM2145, a compact 60GHz communications module purpose-built for UAVs, autonomous systems and defense applications. Ladenburg highlighted the technology’s highly directional narrow beams, resistance to interference and potential advantages for mission-critical applications where signal interception, detection, spoofing and jamming represent significant risks.
Military Drones, IFF and Edge AI Expand the Opportunity
Peraso’s 60GHz technology is increasingly being positioned for Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), drone communications and autonomous military systems. Its directional architecture can reduce co-channel interference while supporting numerous simultaneous high-capacity connections in dense environments—an increasingly important requirement for AI-powered robotics, drone swarms and autonomous platforms generating large volumes of sensor and camera data.
Ladenburg sees this expansion beyond fixed wireless as potentially reshaping Peraso’s growth profile. The firm values PRSO at approximately 5x its projected 2027 revenue of $17.5 million, discounted back 35%, resulting in its new $3.25 price target based on a fully diluted share count of approximately 20 million.
The opportunity comes with meaningful execution risk: Ladenburg specifically identifies Peraso’s ability to scale mmWave adoption and its customer concentration as important risks to the investment thesis. Nevertheless, the analyst believes Peraso’s early positioning in military communications and AI Edge systems could support a significant top-line rebound as the company moves into 2027.
Alongside Peraso (NASDAQ: PRSO), investors are also watching, Profusa Inc (NASDAQ: PFSA) XosInc (NASDAQ: XOS) and Weave Communications Inc (NYSE: WEAV) which are among stocks seeing active early trading.
