Sept. 8, 2026 Mobix Labs Inc. (NASDAQ: MOBX) and Peraso Inc. (NASDAQ: PRSO) are gaining attention across the expanding defense technology market, with Mobix Labs securing its initial production order supporting the F-16 Fighting Falcon and Peraso positioning its 60GHz mmWave technology across military robotics, UAVs and autonomous systems.
Mobix Labs (NASDAQ: MOBX) Adds F-16 Production Order
Mobix Labs announced an initial production order for EMI-filtered connectors supporting the F-16, with initial deliveries already completed and remaining shipments expected in the coming weeks. The order adds another major fighter aircraft platform to Mobix Labs’ defense footprint following previously announced F-22 Raptor component orders that increased approximately five-fold over prior activity.
The latest order strengthens MOBX’s position as a U.S.-based supplier of advanced electronic components for aerospace, defense and mission-critical applications.
Peraso (NASDAQ: PRSO) Targets Military Robotics Opportunity
Peraso is positioned for an emerging opportunity in military robotics and autonomous systems as the U.S. Army advances its Infantry Last Tactical Mile initiative involving autonomous ground vehicles for tactical resupply, casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) and network extension.
While Peraso has not announced involvement in the Army program, its 60GHz mmWave technology and compact PRM2145 module target secure, high-bandwidth and jam-resistant communications for UAVs, defense, autonomous systems and Edge AI. Peraso has already established defense traction through its technology’s selection by Israeli defense contractor InTACT for a drone Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) platform.
