July 22, 2026 Clifton Mining Company (OTCBB: CFTN) is back in focus as gold climbed to a two-week high around $4,140 per ounce, supported by technical buying and continued geopolitical and monetary-policy uncertainty.

The higher gold environment is particularly relevant to Clifton through its substantial interest in Desert Hawk Gold Corp., which reported 631 ounces of gold sold during the first five months of 2026 and approximately 1,379 recoverable ounces remaining on its leach pad at the end of May.

Clifton’s longer-term opportunity extends beyond current production exposure. The company controls more than 14,000 acres in Tooele County, Utah, including properties associated with historical mineral production and prospective gold, silver and other mineral targets.

A sustained precious-metals bull market could improve the economics of previously marginal deposits across the mining industry and encourage renewed development of established mineral districts. That environment could place greater strategic value on Clifton’s combination of Desert Hawk exposure and its large Utah property portfolio.
