On October 3, the company announced that ZenaDrone, in which it holds a stake, was going to send its first shipment of drones to Ireland, which had been manufactured at its new facility. It was the first set of drones from a total of 20 ZenaDrone 1000s that would be put into service in Ireland for the purpose of establishing Drones as a Service, or DaaS, operations. ZenaDrone noted that each drone to be deployed would generate revenues of more than $100,000 a year. ZenaDrone would collaborate with Irish farmers for the purpose of monitoring the health of plants and spraying weeds. Additionally, the drones would also be integrated with the first responder system and made available for use by the fire departments and the police force.

ZenaDrone had announced on September 26 that it had established a German corporation named ZenaDrone GmbH for the purpose of its drone demonstration in Germany and in other NATO nations. The company had also noted that the formation of the subsidiary had been critical in turning leads at the AERO trade show into demonstrations. Since the German Aviation Authority only allows German-registered authorities to operate in the sector, a subsidiary had to be formed.
