August 31, 2026 Clifton Mining Company (OTCBB: CFTN) is drawing increased attention as gold trades near $4,450 per ounce and silver around $66.50, reinforcing the bullish longer-term case surrounding precious-metals assets.
Clifton combines exposure to Desert Hawk Gold Corp. with control of more than 14,000 acres in Tooele County, Utah. Desert Hawk’s previously reported production included 631 ounces of gold and 628 ounces of silver sold during the first five months of 2026, with an estimated 1,379 recoverable gold ounces remaining on the leach pad at May 31.
For Clifton, continued strength in precious metals could extend beyond near-term production economics. Higher gold and silver prices can potentially improve the attractiveness of exploration, joint ventures and future mining development across Clifton’s large Utah property position.
With gold approaching $4,500 and silver remaining historically elevated, investors are increasingly looking beyond major producers toward smaller companies controlling established mineral properties. CFTN’s combination of production exposure, historical mining assets and a substantial Utah land position gives investors several potential catalysts to follow if the precious-metals bull market continues.
