Halberd Corporation(OTC: HALB) has been one of the companies to have done considerably important work in the field of healthcare research over the course of the past months. This morning the company came into the news cycle once again after it emerged that the company would be collaborating with the animal testing laboratory at Mississippi State University.
It was announced that the company would be collaborating with the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the university. It goes without saying that the announcement was a significant one and it would be interesting to see if it brings the Halberd stock onto the radars of investors over the coming days or not.
The project in question is related to research on how effective novel therapeutic processes could be for tackling the aftereffects of traumatic brain injury. In this regard, Dr. Russell Carr, from the College of Veterinary Medicine, spoke as well.
He noted that he and his colleagues at Mississippi State University were excited at the prospect of the possible outcomes and also for the possibility of working with Halberd. It is a project that could eventually open the doors for Halberd Corporation to participate in research projects of similar nature with a host of other universities in the near future.
It should be noted that the College of Veterinary Sciences at the university was established back in 1974 and currently boasts six locations in total. As it happens, the college also serves all 82 counties in the state of Mississippi.
, it could be said that Halberd would be working with one of the foremost veterinary research institutions in the world and such a collaboration could only make the company’s research capabilities stronger.
