Earlier this week, the company announced that a new patent had been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Jericho Energy Ventures Inc. (OTC: JROOF) (TSX.V: JEV) revealed that the patent had been granted for its advanced, DCC-free, zero-emission hydrogen-powered steam boiler that had been developed by Hydrogen Technologies, its fully owned subsidiary unit.

While that was a significant development for the company, Jericho Energy also announced that Hydrogen Technologies had two more pending patents to enhance and protect DCC and Trade’s unique intellectual property. The enhancement and protection had become necessary since the company had begun receiving commercial orders.

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Brian Williamson, spoke about the latest milestone as well. He noted that everyone at the company was excited about the award of the new patent allowance, and the company was looking to further expand its intellectual property portfolio related to its emission-free industrial hydrogen boiler system.

He went on to note that Hydrogen Technologies had been working diligently on extending the intellectual property portfolio of the company following improvements to DCC and Trade. It remains to be seen if the stock comes on the radar of investors this week.
