RIMOUSKI, Quebec, Feb. 28, 2023 – Puma Exploration Inc. (TSXV: PUMA) (OTCQB: PUMXF) is pleased to announce that it has received from New Brunswick’s Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development, the authorization to proceed with a 4,000 tonnes bulk sample at the Lynx Gold Zone (“LGZ”).

On Tuesday, Puma Exploration Inc was in the news after it made a major new announcement with regard to its business. The company came into the news cycle after it announced that it had been awarded the coveted permit by the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development to move forward with the 4000 tons bulk sample at the Lynx Gold Zone.

It was a major new development for the company and one that could have a significant impact on its long-term business operations. However, that was not all. Puma also announced that Dr. Simon Dominy was going to join the company’s advisory team in order to oversee the Bulk Sampling Program so as to make sure it is planned well and ends up being successful. Dr. Dominy is an expert in the implementation and design of bulk sampling programs of this nature.

A bulk sampling program is of significant importance for any project. It is undertaken so as to reduce the risks associated with a project through the verification of local grade estimates and metallurgical test work from the drill holes.

The company noted that there was high-grade mineralization at the Lynx property but the mineralization was not homogenous and in fact displayed a ‘nugget effect’. The 4000 tons bulk sample would be collected by the company from different parts of the Lynx Gold Zone. It would allow the company to have a better idea about the character of the mineralization at the property.
