There are many companies that are now well-known for having come up with products that are meant for protecting the environment and one of the companies which is doing so is General Environmental (OTCMKTS:GEVI).
The company’s fully owned subsidiary unit Mighty Fire Breaker has been in focus in recent times for having come up with MFB-31 Citrotech. It is a product that helps in firefighting and has won the approval of some of the most important organizations as an environmentally safe firefighting solution. In fact, it is the first firefighting product that has been certified to be safe for air, earth, and water.
It is important for investors to note that the product has been endorsed and approved by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL), National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Aquatic Testing Laboratories (ATL) among others.
Last month the company had been in the news after it was announced on August 31, when it was announced that UL had approved the product as non-hazardous and non-toxic. However, in this regard, it is perhaps also important to point out that Mighty Fire Breaker had also gone into a partnership with the EPA.
Due to that particular partnership, it became possible for Mighty Fire Breaker to be made a part of the Safer Choice Program that is run by the EPA. The program is specifically meant for supporting such organizations which are involved in the development of products meant for bringing about improvement in the environment and also for helping in enhancing human health.
Steve Conboy, the President of Mighty Fire Breaker noted at the time that the partnership with the EPA and the recent accreditations have proven to be a significant reward for the company’s work. It may be a good time for investors to keep an eye on further developments on this front.
